Free Journal Site | Lean Construction Journal

Free-Journal.com - Published from the Lean Construction Institute since 2003, the Lean Construction Journal (LCJ) is usually an international refereed journal devoted to Lean Construction practice and research.

All papers will surely be rigorously reviewed by at the very least three people, some of whom will probably be an industry practitioner. Reviewers will surely be asking themselves how the paper will support change in, and/or help stimulate rethinking of, the construction process on- or off-site. The aim on the review process is to aid the author (s) achieve this with in accessible manner. To aid this, authors may opt to attach detailed statistical or any other technical analyses of findings with in appendix that'll be seen from the reviewers and open to readers if and when they want it.

In Lean Construction, owner, designers, general and specialty contractors, and suppliers work together to supply a value-adding, constructible, usable, and maintainable facility. The maximization of workflow, not point speed, with the minimization of performance variation as well as the elimination of systemic waste sources is really a key cornerstone of Lean Construction. The main objective of LCJ usually is to stimulate a systematic rethinking on the construction process both on and off-site by giving a forum for disseminating knowledge and exchanging ideas between industry and academia.

Manuscript authors (practitioners, consultants and academics), in a different LCJ publication category, are minded to submit writings which are readily accessible to reflective practitioners and clients on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry and AEC students and faculty. Because the journal started, in 2003 our acceptance rate is 48% (126 papers submitted, 59 accepted).
